RiverLife Membership Covenant
Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and being in agreement with the values and ideas of RiverLife Church, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the RiverLife Church family. In doing so, I make the following commitment to God and my fellow church members:
Protect Unity
I will protect the unity of my church by acting in love toward other members, refusing to gossip, and following the leaders. (Romans 14:19; Romans 15:5; Hebrews 13:17)
Share Responsibility
I will share the responsibility of my church by praying for its growth and health, inviting the un-churched to attend, and warmly welcoming all those who visit. (Luke 14:23; Romans 15:7)
Serve the Ministry
I will serve the ministry of my church by discovering my gifts and talents, using my God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others, and developing a servant's heart. (1 Peter 4:10; Ephesians 4:11-12; Philippians 2:4-5, 7)
Support the Testimony
I will support the testimony of my church by attending church faithfully, living a Godly life, and giving regularly. (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:25; Philippians 1:27)
