50% of all the money we raise from BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. goes directly to help children right here in our community through our local partnership with Day 4 Hope. We host an annual back to school event that provides homeless and needy children with everything they need to begin the first day of school with dignity. Each child receives: an eye screening, child & family portraits, personal care items, gift cards for clothes & shoes, dental exams & education, a haircut, backpack & school supplies, and much more.

They are dedicated to serving the poor by helping children, widows, and their communities worldwide reach their full potential through five main areas: sustainable farming, building cities, children’s homes, developing common grounds, and learning centers.

In 2022, BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. raised $2,166,427 to help children globally and locally. This would not have been possible without the help of our generous sponsors business partners! Last year’s event produced local media attention in the papers, radio, and television across the country.
